Dynamic stretching is using your own muscle power to move a body part in a controlled manner through its full range of motion. We use dynamic stretching in Olumia Life for numerous benefits:
If you look at these benefits of dynamic stretching, it’s pretty logical that it’s something you should definitely do before you exercise.
And this applies to any kind of exercise. But don’t worry, you have a lot of options. You can try general types of dynamic stretching, like swinging your arms in large circles, or specific to the activity your about to do, like swinging your arm for a minute or so in the full motion of your tennis swing before playing.
This applies to strength training, too. An example of dynamic stretching here would be lifting a much lighter weight in the same motion as the strength training you’re about to do.
